This is a simpler telling of the Doss story and does not go into much war details. Written more for young folk. I recommend the book written by BOOTEN HERNDON which does get into the details of his experience. I recommend you buy that book before the movie comes out late 2016 and early 2017. Andrew Garfield stars as Doss, while Mel Gibson directs.
